Who uses coaching and what for?

More and more people from all walks of life are hiring a coach to work with them on achieving what they want from life. People hire a coach for many different reasons but the underlying reason is that they want some sort of change. They want to enjoy life more, to have more satisfaction, be leading more fulfilling lives and maintaining a healthy and successful balance. Some people have a specific goal that they know would benefit from the support of a coach; others want to build self confidence, to have better relationships or to look better; some want to change their job or to lead a completely different lifestyle and want the space to explore their options objectively in a supported way before making changes.

How long does someone work with a coach?
For coaching to be effective a minimum of six sessions is usually recommended. However, many people find coaching to be so effective that they continue working together for much longer.


Can I hire a coach just for a special project?
This can be a useful introduction to coaching and can help you to accomplish specific goals or projects.


How does it work?
A coaching session takes place either face to face or by phone. This is generally week or two-weekly initially, and lasts for one hour. The coaching relationship is confidential, using a range of tools and techniques to help you achieve the results that you want.
